Can You See Me  C. von Sneidern

A funny face, a laughable sort of fellow you don’t even know arrived today just to report your side that doesn’t show.

He’s plenty sane, and stronger than you

He’s your conscience and will, although he gets the same respect from few here as he has for you

He’s all alone, in your special place, doing the headhold on your bended knees.

Look at me, can you see me?

Don’t look so down- just watch my eyes

Don’t look so down- I’ll turn your head

Don’t look so down- obscure and blind

Looking behind

You can’t look up, you know it’s true your past is your future too

You stop to think and imitate the truth in spite of yourself (Big White Lies)

It sounds like you, we think it’s you, until we surround you

You’re all alone in the electric chair, can you see me?

Don’t look so down- just watch my eyes

Don’t look so down- I’ll turn your head

And there you’ll find

Now I hear another voice, resembles mine with better choice

Until the time that I hear mine, I’ll take your sign.

At ten o’clock you kiss it goodbye to what you haven’t seen in three weeks

He says you need some fresher air instead of the midnight sun

While all the time you put him down for lack of your better mind

you saw yourself and what’s around-

Keep track of the thoughts you find

We’re all alone in our special place, doing the headhold

on a bended knee Look at me-

Can you see me? See me? See me?

Don’t look so down- just watch my eyes

Don’t look so down- I’ll turn your head

Don’t look so down- not obscure and blind

Looking behind

Don’t look so down- just watch my eyes

Don’t look so down- I’ll turn your head

Don’t look so down- not obscure and blind

Looking behind
