The Rocky Roads

slowly climbing through the hills

in the distance

hungry clouds hover above

the snow capped peaks

the iron horse is begun today

and the camp fire reflects

the coal bank journey

red mountain - a two hour coast

gently reaching the grand junction

ascending on Colorado, doing the grind

Vail and Loveland are now behind

the Golden City from the rocky roads

the Rocky Roads slowly climbing north
