CVS/Ordophon Mastering

Schedule of services and fees

Compile master CD up to 74 minutes (red book standard) $85.00 flat fee

· Transfer audio into my system from your source:

o Hard Drive, CD-R, DVD+-R, or CD audio discs

o .wav, .sd2, .aiff, .mp3 format on CD-R or DVD-R data disc

· Sequence with a default spacing between songs

· Basic level matching of songs based on loudness energy

· Red-book compliant CD master output to CD-R, first one is included

· Mailed USPS to you, or you pick up in San Francisco

This $85 service is for meeting the basic requirements to produce a master that is accepted at a replication plant.

Any further adjustments made will require extra studio time. Most projects can benefit from 2-3 hours of evaluation and adjustments.

Additional adjustments and processing in studio $60.00/hr (in 15 min increments)

· Real-time input from media other than CD-R (DAT, analog tape of most any format)

· Adjusting fades

· Editing songs

· EQ

· Dynamics (compression, limiting)

· Backing up files to DVD-R or your hard drive, miscellaneous tasks

Additional CDs burned $5.00 each

CD-authoring program is CD Architect 5.2. Plug-ins can be added to the whole CD, and/or each separate song, or sections of a song.

Audio plug-ins include:

· BBE Sonic Maximizer (broadband harmonics enhancement)

· PSP Mix Pack (compressor/analog tape emulator)

· Steinberg Mastering Edition v1.0 (match up EQ curve of two different mixes of the same song)

· Waves Platinum Bundle (the mother lode- EQs, compressors, reverbs, stereo imaging alteration)

· Waves Renaissance Bundle (new classic style EQs, compressors, reverbs, bass harmonics enhancer)

· Waves Transform Bundle (time stretching, pitching, and transient processing)

· Waves Restoration Bundle (click, crackle, hiss and hum removal)

Terms:

$85 payment due at start of project; final invoice to be paid in full when picking up master.

Payments may be made by cash, check, or for remote projects, via PayPal. Email me for PayPal account info.

Master is supplied as a CD-R.

Projects in progress will stay on my hard drive until your master is approved; backups of session can be saved to CD-R or DVD-R.

If Limelight Disc and Design is handling your disc order, they can collect my fees as part of your Limelight invoice.

In the case of edits or fades, I can send mp3s for preview and approval before burning the master.
