Chris, Peter Straus and Bennett Bowman have recorded with JWH. They've also done several shows at The Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, most memorably with Al Stewart, Robert Lloyd, Pete Sears, and Amy Rigby, as JWH's guests.
In 1996, JWH and CVS toured the U.S. along with Stephen Fearing. Jerry Boxley and John Stuart turned the folk club scene on its ear with their rock n' roll bass / drum approach.

Troubadour, LA 2000
CVS wrote two songs with JWH for his upcoming release in 2002. Those, and a handful of others, feature the inimitable layered backing vocal stylings of CVS. A USA tour is planned once the new JWH is released on Mammoth Records.
