“Why Isn’t Chris von Sneidern Famous?” - The DVD begat a CD, and now we have one of those “Songs from the film” collections, of which I am proudly presenting in limited numbers. I have it available on my merchandise page. Like my releases of the past 10 years, I have had every finger in every step of its production, working on the cover art, proofreading the liner notes, and driving my good friend and colleague John Greenham to the limit in the mastering studio.
I have been enthusiastically cooperative with promoting the film, appearing at screenings, participating in the Q&A with director Kathleen McNamara, and cheerily agreeing to sing a few songs.
The DVD documentary is available on DVD. I have it available on my merchandise page.
There is a little bit of a story there, read up on it here. For the time being, the DVD is only available here and through the Academy Avenue website. A soundtrack CD is planned for Spring 2010, with extra goodies so everyone will want it even if you have the movie and all my other CDs. See, I’ve learned a thing or two from this music business racket.
My “new record” was done before I knew I’d started again. And you’ll never hear it. I hid it so far away I’ll never find it. In fact, I think I made two of them. Believe me, you didn’t miss a thing.
Thanks for asking about it, though.
